Last Saturday the Hythe Hopefuls headed off to Mersham for the first of the Bats and Bubbles Festivals of the season. After winning both of their group matches against Folkestone Falafels and the newly formed Sibton Park women's team they then faced Mersham Misfits in the final.

Mersham batted first and ended their innings on 198. With Hythe posting a total of 241 they were crowned winners of the festival!A wonderful afternoon full of fun and laughter. Many thanks to Mersham for organising such a fantastic day.
