Hythe Cricket Club runs various teams throughout the week and welcomes players of all ages and abilities. Cricket has been played at The Grove since the founding of the club in 1856/7.

On Saturdays Hythe put out a 1st X1 and 2nd X1 that compete in the Kent League and our Sunday team plays non-league matches throughout the season. The club also competes in the Kent league 20/20 competition.

In 2017 the club set an ambitious fundraising target with the focus of re-laying the entire cricket table. After raising the necessary funds this work has now been completed ready for the 2018 season. Along with our modern 2 cricket nets the club boasts some of the best cricketing facilities in the the area.

The clubs pre-season nets start on Sunday 18th March from 10:30-12:00 and cricket training is on Wednesday evening from 6.30pm throughout the season.

We are always looking for new players. If you are thinking of moving clubs, have recently moved to the area or want to get back into the sport then contact us today to get involved.
